Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: August 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of FeedZen's website, RSS reading features, paid subscriptions, AI features, API, and MCP connection. By creating an account or using FeedZen, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and your account
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use of FeedZen.
Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or an assistant connection you authorize. Contact hello@feedzen.app promptly if you believe either has been compromised.
Trial and paid subscriptions
Creating a FeedZen account starts a 14-day trial and does not by itself create a charge. Paid access begins only when you choose a monthly or yearly plan and complete Stripe checkout.
Paid plans renew automatically at the billing interval and price shown at checkout until cancelled. Stripe processes payment and provides the billing portal. Taxes or other charges shown at checkout may apply based on your location.
You can cancel through the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access normally continues through the paid billing period. Mandatory cancellation, refund, and withdrawal rights under applicable consumer law still apply. For a billing problem or refund request, contact hello@feedzen.app.
Deleting your FeedZen account immediately cancels active Stripe subscriptions before the account is removed. If Stripe cannot confirm the cancellation, FeedZen keeps the account in place and shows an error so you can retry or contact us. Cancellation does not create a refund unless applicable law or a separate refund decision requires one.
RSS content and third-party services
FeedZen retrieves and organizes content published by third-party RSS sources. FeedZen does not own or endorse that content and cannot promise that it is accurate, lawful, available, or unchanged. Publishers may update or remove their content. Your use of articles and other third-party material remains subject to the publisher's rights and terms.
FeedZen also relies on services such as Stripe, Google, OpenRouter, and the AI assistant provider you choose. Their services and data handling are governed by their own terms and policies.
AI features and MCP connections
When you request a summary, recap, or follow-up answer, FeedZen sends relevant article material and request context to OpenRouter and the selected model provider. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on it as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
You may authorize an AI assistant to read recent articles from your FeedZen account through the MCP connection. Review the permissions on the authorization screen and connect only clients you trust. You can revoke access from your profile settings. Revocation prevents new access but does not erase information the assistant provider already received.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- access another user's account or data without permission;
- interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization;
- send malware or abusive automated traffic; or
- copy, resell, or provide access to FeedZen's software or paid service as your own product without written permission.
FeedZen intellectual property
FeedZen's software, branding, design, and original materials belong to FeedZen or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of FeedZen or third-party RSS content.
Availability and changes to the service
FeedZen depends on RSS publishers, hosting, payment, identity, analytics, and AI providers. Any of them may fail or change independently. FeedZen does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may update, add, limit, or remove features. We may also suspend access when reasonably needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, non-payment, or prevention of misuse.
Disclaimers and responsibility
FeedZen is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. FeedZen is not responsible for third-party feed content, external websites, or decisions made from AI output. You remain responsible for reviewing information before acting on it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Ending access
You may stop using FeedZen at any time. You may delete feed associations or your full account from profile settings. Account deletion removes user-specific FeedZen data but may not remove shared RSS records or records retained by third-party providers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, a security threat, non-payment, or a legal requirement. Sections about ownership, responsibility, payment obligations, and other provisions that need to survive will continue after access ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when FeedZen or applicable requirements change. The date above shows when the current version took effect. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the service or by email when practical. Your continued use after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
